LORI’S TRAVEL TIPS!

 

Here’s just a few tips to help with your future travel:

 

1.  If you are booking a trip with multiple locations, be realistic about your time and plan to stay (at least) 2 days in each city.

 

2.  Have your travel agent book your tours early in the am or late afternoon to avoid they mayhem. Also, private and small tours are sometimes less expensive than you would think.

 

3.  Ladies, dress modestly and carry a scarf to wrap around you at religious sites.

 

4. DON’T be a rude American and assume everyone knows English.  Learn enough to ask if they speak English, greet people, and ask basic questions.  It will truly go a long way in how you are treated.

 

5. Make sure you are aware of the tipping courtesies.  Most other countries do not expect nearly the 15-20% we do here.
